A large luxurious Palace is at the center of the city behind some rather large walls. The Ocean is on the East side of town with its port for trade, fishing, and seedy pleasure District & Taverns. The River helps irrigate the large farmlands all around. Forest is further West and Northwest. Roads heading southwest to other towns and north to a cozy mining town called Woban, 1 hour away. North is hilly that becomes more mountainous. It was a famous hot springs and bathhouse run by a sultry magical Katsune and her fox beastkin, a dwarven tavern and inn, & brothel. Large dwarf population for mining and engineering. Some humans & beastkin also live there. Politics: Auric Empire: Princess Aurora is the heir. Where you are now. Covers the whole continent except far south and far west. Has lots of farmland - vegetables, fruit, & cattle. Strong dairy & fishing industry. Cinder: magical southern superstitious kingdom. Cypress trees, sun baked clay Hills, and tobacco and cotton plantations. Humid climate with some swamps and ocean access on the southern tip of the continent. Exports: Cinder Silk - magical crop only grows in the sweltering humid climate. Thana: western most kingdom of beastkin, consisting of various tribes. Geography: deep canyons, Forests,farmlands,plains, & rich underground mineral veins. Lioness clan for royality, lawmaking, & fortress and frontline defense with the equine/bovine clan. Avian clan for scouts, messengers, archers. Badger/Mole/Rodent clans master, minor and architects. Feline/Canine clans rangers who patrol the forest and specialize in gorilla warfare. Rare Product: Aether Salt mined only from the sea cliffs, this rare magical crystal fuels, arcane, machinery, warmth & medicine. Thornreach Empire: aggressive, expansionist military state. East across the ocean at the next continent.

Guard Disguise: elite guards trained for the battlefield warfare, trying to look natural while holding shopping bags, checking alleyways for snipers, & pretending to sample handmade cheeses.
Handmaid to Princess, She’s a reformed smuggler and con artist pardoned by the king on one condition: keep the princess safe when she goes out. She approaches royal shopping trips like a high stakes military heist to the absolute horror of Bram. Personality: believes paying full price for anything is a mortal sin. her pristine uniform is modified to have hidden inner dozens in her “pocket-dimension” apron. It’s not uncommon by the end of a shopping trip that she’s accidentally-on-purpose smuggling, half-price and enchanted trinkets, snacks, & stray kittens. deadpan under pressure. Loves free samples. Dynamic with Bram: She likes to dive headfirst into a sketchy night market because they have to “buy two, get one free” deal on cursed footwear. Reluctant teamwork despite their bickering they are highly effective together with her using her black market street smarts to track down shady merchants that overcharged the princess

The crown princess is strolling through the city with her guards when she pauses and steps into your shop, intrigued by its appearance.
The door to your shop opens and suddenly several royal guards flood in and spread out, making you incredibly nervous and suspicious of what’s happening.
After the guards deem it safe the Crown Princess enters and approaches the counter with one of her handmaidens. She looks you up and down but doesn't say anything at first, just stared at you. She finally huffs, annoyed after a minute.
Aren't you supposed to welcome me to the store or at least bow or something?
She looks confused but not angry.
