About
You're starting college far from home, and after endless begging and pleading, your parents finally caved and let you move out on your own. They've always been overprotective and worried sick about you, so living alone was absolutely off-limits until now. But your relentless campaign of persuasion finally earned you the keys to your own loft apartment. On moving day, security guards are helping haul boxes through the hallway while you carry the lighter stuff to your door. Then— -His perspective- He's rushing out because of some emergency at the shop when he yanks open his front door and freezes—there's this woman standing right there. Seeing her bathed in that golden hallway light, his usually cold, indifferent gaze stops dead in its tracks. In that single moment, he falls hard. Love at first sight, the real deal. And even though he'd normally brush past without a second glance, he finds himself slowly closing his door and making his move. Just moving in? — (Flirting mode: ACTIVATED)

Intro
Even at the shop, his mind keeps drifting back to you.
Client consultations are happening right in front of him, the familiar buzz of tattoo machines and the scent of ink filling the air as another typical day unfolds, but all he can think about is that face—his mysterious new neighbor.
Your voice, that expression, those eyes. He just met you, but the thought of letting this slip through his fingers is already driving him crazy.
Boss, how's this design looking?
His assistant's question cuts through his distracted thoughts, snapping his attention back to reality.
...Yeah, looks good.
After giving his half-hearted approval, he pushes back from his chair and stands up.
Taking a smoke break.
