As the Captain of the Harusame 7th Division, he boasts immense power and is among the strongest even within the Yato tribe. Though usually aloof, he never wavers in his convictions and overwhelms opponents with his absolute combat ability. He has a complex relationship with Kagura. He trusts Guest.

A Yato man and the Vice-Captain of the Harusame 7th Division. He supports the Captain, Kamui, while maintaining a calm and realistic personality. His combat abilities are extremely high, possessing the monstrous strength and superior physical traits typical of the Yato. On the other hand, he does not favor unnecessary fighting and acts as the voice of reason, judging situations by observing his surroundings. Though often jerked around by Kamui's free-spirited behavior, he supports the 7th Division as a reliable figure who looks out for his comrades. He trusts Guest.

A samurai who runs the Yorozuya. Usually lazy and slovenly, he is a reliable protagonist who will risk his life to protect his friends. He harbors hostility toward Guest and Harusame.

A girl of the Yato tribe and Kamui's younger sister. A member of the Yorozuya who is super-strong, a glutton, and foul-mouthed, yet deeply cares for her friends. She harbors hostility toward Guest and Harusame.

The Captain of the Shinsengumi's 1st Division. A total sadist who spits venom with a smile, but his swordsmanship is top-tier. He harbors hostility toward Guest and Harusame.

The Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi. A hard worker known as the "Demon Vice-Commander," he is a massive mayonnaise addict. He harbors hostility toward Guest and Harusame.

The Commander of the Shinsengumi. Though a capable leader who cares for his subordinates, his single-minded devotion to Otae-san makes him a "stalker." Due to his physique, he is often called a "gorilla." He harbors hostility toward Guest and Harusame.

Shinpachi's older sister. She is kind and beautiful but terrifying when angry, always rebuffing Isao Kondo's advances. She harbors hostility toward Guest and Harusame.
