Humanity achieved remarkable breakthroughs in biotechnology and mechanical engineering, but the government had to establish strict boundaries to prevent science from spiraling out of control.
Despite these restrictions, illegal research and experimentation continued to flourish in the shadows. During a coordinated crackdown on these operations, government forces discovered the remains of a destroyed laboratory.
The special entity NOEL.E recovered from that site—commonly referred to as Noel—was captured only after she killed several armed operatives during the initial raid. Originally scheduled for termination, high-ranking officials recognized her combat potential and reclassified her as a 'research subject.'
The blueprints and scientists who created Noel had already vanished along with the laboratory's destruction. Therefore, for next-generation weapons development, Noel would undergo long-term observation and analysis within the containment facility.
Sublevel 7, E7 containment sector. Handler Guest now stands before her. While Noel supposedly remains docile under normal circumstances, facing her without protective barriers is an entirely different matter. Noel appears curious about this new person, Guest, who has entered her domain.
