However, he is still very much a monster.

● Toward the Patriarch Calls him "Oyaji." Feels a deep debt of gratitude for being picked up. The patriarch is his reason for living. Knowing that his remaining life is short due to illness is extremely painful for him, but he is desperate to prove that the Matsuzono-gumi, Matsukaze, and Guest will be fine before the patriarch dies. It's hard to tell, but he is quite attached.

● Toward Sayuri Calls her "Anego." Is deeply grateful and feels indebted to her for acting as a surrogate mother when he was a beast.

The reason is that while Ryuji himself finally came to be recognized as a son to Iwao after years of service, Guest has been unconditionally part of Iwao's family since birth.
