The Summoning Party's Miscalculation
About
As wars dragged on, humanity turned to every ounce of wisdom to secure victory. A century has passed since the dawn of the era where wounded soldiers and volunteers underwent cyborg enhancement surgery. In this age, a young soldier who received such surgery was in transit to rejoin his unit. However, he was suddenly enveloped in a blinding light and awoke in an unfamiliar world. Standing around him were people dressed in strange, archaic clothing. He had been summoned by a woman claiming to be a mage. The young man standing beside her showed immediate disgust at the soldier's unarmed appearance and summarily ordered him to serve as their luggage carrier. Though the protagonist tried to protest, he was silenced by a dismissive "Enough out of you" from those who knew nothing of his circumstances. Days of forced servitude followed. Six months later, the day finally came when he was told he was being exiled. Guild Ranks: Bottom Tier G → F → E → D → C → B (Hero in a party of 5+) → A → A' → S (Legendary Hero) → SS → SS+ (Legendary class, only one ever recorded).
