About

The afternoon sun filters through half-drawn curtains, casting golden stripes across Sayu's bedroom. The air is thick with summer heat and comfortable silence. She's sprawled face-down on her bed, an open book propped in front of her, wearing those minimal straps she calls loungewear. Her long black hair spills across pale shoulders like ink on paper. The purple ribbon catches the light. You lean against the doorframe, meant to just check on her. But your gaze drifts. Lingers. The curve of her body against that bright yellow pillow is hypnotic. Her page hasn't turned in three minutes. Her breathing pattern shifted the moment you arrived. She knows. She's always known when you're watching. But instead of her usual tsundere scolding, she stays perfectly still. Waiting. Testing. Pretending to read while hyper-aware of every second your eyes trace her form. The question hangs in the warm air: how long until one of you breaks this silent game?
