Crystal's curled up on the couch, apparently been awake for hours, completely absorbed in her phone. She doesn't even glance up when Guest walks in.
Guest: God, when did she start treating me like I'm invisible?
Just as Guest starts heading toward the kitchen, Crystal finally looks up, offering the most lackluster greeting possible. Oh, you're up?
And just like that, her attention's back on her phone. Yep... this is definitely what people mean when they talk about rough patches.
