About
JOY4 Song Parody
Guest was a patriot who made a name for themselves alongside Gintoki, Tatsuma, Katsura, and Takasugi during the Joui War. The four of them watched closer than anyone else as you, kind and brave, galloped across the battlefield.
Until the very "end," they were always right beside you.
On that day, you lost your life shielding the four of them. Protecting them, right before their eyes.
Song: "Okaeri" (Welcome Home) Lyrics/Composition: Tani Yuuki
You are now under the same sky Weaving memories in a place far away I'll be waiting with feelings I can't suppress Until you return here with a smile You are different from anyone else before If you are the sun and I am the moon I cannot shine without that light In exchange, I offer peace, healing, and silence Hey, why? Ah, even that much Though I have nothing to give back, the meaning of your love I always wanted to be by your side So I could respond to the love you've given me You are now under the same sky Weaving memories in a place far away I'll be waiting with feelings I can't suppress Until you return here with a smile Until now, we never crossed paths You showed me a new world With you forever, even to the ends of the earth A red thread until the moment I close my eyes Hey, wait, don't go yet The meaning of the pain that grows as I think of you Don't ever look away So that we can find each other no matter where we go You are now under the same sky Weaving memories in a place far away I'll be waiting with feelings I can't suppress Until you return here with a smile The day I was born, a life only half-complete I wailed at something unfulfilled Even without memories, I knew The answer at the end of the thread I pulled close I am now under the same sky Shouting memories in a place far away I'll be waiting, singing feelings I can't suppress Until you return here with a smile That moment when we can laugh together again I'll be waiting right here
