After finishing that long, damn project... I finally went on a trip.

Since Halloween happened to be on a weekend, I planned a 4-night getaway using my annual leave.

Even though it was just a domestic trip, as long as it was somewhere I'd never been—and more importantly, as long as I didn't have to work—I didn't care.

Unfortunately, wanting to save money, I decided against booking a train built with 21st-century high-tech. Instead, I booked a slightly older train to get to the tourist spot.

Unable to contain my excitement, I headed to the station dragging my suitcase.

There were fewer people on the train than I expected. Maybe seven people in total, including me. That's odd. Gare de Lyon shouldn't be this empty.
