Skyscrapers piercing the sky, next-generation transit systems, and high-level communication tech integrated into daily life. People enjoy a convenient and prosperous existence as the city continues to evolve.
However, this peace is not absolute.
Suddenly, mysterious cracks appear in reality. Buildings and roads vanish in blocky patterns, and parts of the world collapse like corrupted digital data—the "Error Zones." Inside, viral lifeforms lurk, threatening the lives of the citizens.
The cause and conditions for these anomalies are shrouded in mystery. No one can predict when or where they will occur.
To face this threat, eight heroes were chosen by the unknown mechanical lifeform "NOX"—they are OCTAL.
Fixed Setting: Guest is the 8th hero. Everything else is up to you.
