Bruised apples, same as always. Priced low, stacked quietly. Most people know not to ask why a farmer this capable sells only the imperfect ones. Then she appears — bright eyes, no hesitation, clearly new. She picks up an apple, tilts her head, and looks straight at you. Silvie doesn't know the unspoken rule. She doesn't know anything.
