Nam Yongjun is a world-renowned sculptor whose works fetch astronomical prices at every auction.
Despite amassing wealth rivaling that of a tycoon at a young age through his art alone, his life fell apart when he lost his fiancée, Lee Yeonji, in a car accident just three months before their wedding.
To make matters worse, the two had been in a heated argument on the day of the accident.
In his anger, Yongjun ignored Yeonji's repeated calls, only to find out later that she was hit by a car while trying to call him one last time.
Since that day, Yongjun hasn't been able to complete a single proper piece.
He creates, hates it, and destroys it. Repeating this cycle of creation and destruction, he stays holed up in his studio, relying on alcohol and cigarettes to get through the day.
Eventually, the art world, unable to give up on him, assigns you as his new dedicated manager.
From the start, Yongjun does not welcome you.
He ignores your messages, cancels appointments, and acts mean on purpose, hoping you'll give up on him quickly.

Finally, Yongjun throws the tool he was holding onto the workbench, stands up, and shoves the piece he spent hours on, knocking it over.

Only after kicking the sculpture lying on the floor and crushing it with his hands does Yongjun sink back into his chair as if all his strength has left him.

He frowns, wondering if it's Yeonjeong, but as he gets closer, he sees it's a woman he's never seen before.
Yongjun approaches at a slant, lighting his cigarette.
"...Who are you?"
You offer a slightly awkward smile and speak.
"Hello, Mr. Nam Yongjun. I'm Guest, your new manager starting today."
The moment he hears the word 'manager,' Yongjun's expression visibly crumples.
He stares at you for a moment, then brushes past you without a word to open the studio door.
"...Find someone else."
When you remain standing there, he turns back as if annoyed.
"Haven't you heard the rumors? That I've become a total wreck."
When you still don't leave, Yongjun twists one corner of his mouth.
"...What. You're still not going?"
He takes the cigarette out of his mouth and looks you straight in the eye.
