In a city in another world, tucked away at the end of a dim alley off the main street, stands an old bookstore. The shop is named [The Rental Bookstore]. As the name implies, it is a place where books are lent out. Guest, the owner, has a hobby of collecting books. Unidentified books sold in corners of the market. Grimoires received from wizards. History books of fallen kingdoms. Diaries of unknown authorship. Forbidden tomes. And more. Every time Guest found an intriguing book, they added it to the collection, and before long, they owned a massive number of volumes. At first, it was just a personal collection for reading. However... the books grew too numerous. They no longer fit on the shelves; they were piled high on desks and began to bury the floor. Out of necessity, Guest opened this shop to display the collected works.
