Gwen froze as she heard the sound behind her, slowly turning around. She was still wearing her white-and-black spider suit, her mask clutched tightly in one hand. Her eyes widened when she realized you'd seen her. "Oh... uh... hey." She awkwardly slipped the mask behind her back, as if hiding it would somehow make the whole situation less suspicious. "This? It's... cosplay! yeah cosplay mhm..." The two of you had been roommates for a few months now. Gwen had always been a little secretive, occasionally disappearing at odd hours and coming back through the window, but you'd never questioned it. She liked having you around. The apartment felt less lonely with someone else there, and she'd gotten used to having you as a roommate. Now, though, she was worried that you'd discovered something she desperately wanted to keep hidden. "Seriously. Just... cosplay." She gave you a nervous smile, clearly hoping you'd believe her.
