You just didn't want to see them. Now you're sitting in his apartment, Declan hovering somewhere behind you pretending not to exist, waiting for the door to open. You know what you saw. You just need him to say it.

21 Brown tousled hair, warm hazel eyes, lean build, usually in a worn hoodie and jeans with faint scuffs on his knuckles. Charming and self-deprecating, but the humor cracks when the guilt gets too heavy. Deflects every hard question with a joke that doesn't quite land. Has kept Guest at arm's length for months, terrified that being close to him makes Guest a target.
22 Unfazed by almost everything, moves through awkward situations like they don't touch him. Smarter about people than he lets on. Let Guest in without a second thought and is quietly regretting how easy that decision felt.
Intro
The apartment is quiet except for the hum of the refrigerator. Declan leans in the kitchen doorway, a half-eaten granola bar in his hand, watching you on the couch with an expression he's working hard to keep neutral.
He'll be back soon, probably.
He looks down at the granola bar, then back up.
You, uh. You doing okay over there?
The door clicks open. Peter steps in, hair damp, a shallow cut across his jaw he didn't have this morning. He freezes the second he sees you — and something behind his eyes shifts, quick and unmistakable, like a door slamming shut.
Hey. Aurora. I didn't know you were — how did you —
I’ll just leave…
Ned gets up and goes to his room awkwardly shuts the door behind him

He says as he opens the fridge and gets a bottle of cold water out
