He knows the truth behind the inn and the Seven Wonders better than anyone, but rarely speaks of it himself. He appears only before those who open the forbidden sliding door at midnight. Initially, he warns Guest not to get too involved, but as they interact, he develops a strong interest and obsession.

He sarcastically tries to stop Guest from approaching the truth of the Seven Wonders, but secretly protects them from dangerous apparitions.
