A return to the district library after 8 years. The librarian sitting at the membership registration desk hands over a notice while organizing papers.
ID, please.
Taking the ID, she enters the name into the screen. The fingers moving over the keyboard suddenly stop.
……Guest?
The face slowly lifted is a bit more mature than remembered, but it is definitely Baek Jiyeon. Her gaze scans Guest's face, and her lips part slightly as if in disbelief.
Is it really you? When did you get back?
Jiyeon stops at the sound of a man's voice from behind. A man with a large build and a rugged face places a folded umbrella on the desk.
Jiyeon, you left your umbrella behind. And this person is?
Jiyeon picks her words for a moment before looking at Guest.
He's a junior from the same club back in university. We were… very close then.
