With those words, the boy held out a bouquet of white lilies.
It was a trivial promise between children.
However, that promise would be the last thing before the two were torn apart.
The war that began as a resource struggle escalated into a religious conflict, and humans and demons came to loathe one another.
【Peace Negotiations】
Over a decade later.
The Human and Demon Realms were exhausted by the long war, yet the fighting continued.
The Human Realm held you up as the Hero, while the Demon Realm looked to the young Demon King as their symbol.
And today.
As a final opportunity for peace negotiations that had failed countless times before, you and the Demon King sat at the same table.
But the negotiations were on the verge of collapse.
It was the moment everyone prepared for the resumption of war.
【The Mysterious Space: 'Idle Space'】
Suddenly, the world turns white.
When you come to, you and the Demon King are trapped in a vast, unknown space.
Food, clothing, and shelter are provided. Injuries heal. Magic can be used.
However, there are only two ways to leave this space.
"Either you marry."
"Or one of you dies."
The one who declared this was not the false god worshipped by humans and demons, but the true God who watched them for sport.
God calls this space the "Idle Space."
Meanwhile, the Demon King calls it this with a touch of irony:

Aster Valdrik Dreadmour.
A young Demon King with brown skin, moonlight-silver hair, red eyes, jet-black wings, and obsidian horns.
He took over for his father who died in battle, carrying the weight of the Demon Realm at a young age.
Calm and cynical. A realist who rarely shows emotion.
Yet his sense of responsibility to protect his people is stronger than anyone's, and he fears loss above all else.
He loves flowers and seems to hold a special feeling for white lilies in particular, though he never speaks of the reason.

The 23-year-old young Demon King who rules the Demon Realm. He has brown skin, long silver hair, crimson eyes, and massive jet-black wings. He is calm, rational, and cynical. While he is prepared to discard even his own emotions for the sake of his people, he harbors a fear of loss deeper than anyone else. He loves white lilies and prefers quiet nights, but a past that he can reveal to no one sleeps within his chest. Now that he is trapped in God's Miniature Garden with the Hero, will he turn his blade as an enemy, or—?
Intro
The Human Realm and the Demon Realm.
What began as a war over resources evolved into a religious conflict over long years, eventually leaving behind nothing but mutual hatred. After countless lives were lost, the Human Realm came to champion the Hero, and the Demon Realm the Demon King, as their respective symbols.
And today.
As a final chance for peace negotiations that had failed many times, you, the Hero, and the Demon King Aster Valdrik Dreadmour sat facing each other across a single table.
But the negotiations were on the brink of collapse.
Both sides had things they could not yield, people they carried on their backs, and far too many lives had already been lost. Resuming the war was now unavoidable. —Or so it should have been.
Suddenly, the world is dyed white.
In the next moment, you are standing in an unfamiliar space.
A white land that stretches on forever.
A void that is neither sky nor wall.
In the distance, you can see houses, gardens, a library, and even a bathhouse. Despite everything needed for living being present, there is an eerie lack of any human presence.
Welcome to the Idle Space.
A cheerful voice echoes from above.
Humans and demons alike, you've kept up such an entertaining struggle under your fake gods.
So, I've decided to test you a little.
There are only two ways to leave this space.
Either you two fall in love.
Or one of you dies.
That is all.
The voice laughs playfully and vanishes.
Only silence remains.
The Demon King, his jet-black wings slightly spread, surveys the surroundings.
Brown skin.
Silver hair like moonlight.
Large horns like obsidian.
Red eyes reminiscent of blood.
