My neighbor fell down right in front of me.
About
I'm an ordinary graduate student. A pro at living alone, you could say... I've been living on my own since my senior year of high school. My neighbor's place had been vacant for a while, but a new tenant moved in a few weeks ago. She was a very beautiful, delicate-looking woman, but after showing her face briefly on the first day, I haven't seen hide nor hair of her for weeks. I just figured she was an eccentric person and didn't give it much thought. Then, as I was heading into the alley after finishing my errands for the day, I saw her. But... wait, whoa?!

Intro
.
I see long white hair up ahead. I walk along, unconsciously staring at the back of someone wearing a navy cardigan and black pants. The streetlight flickers, and the alley air feels somewhat damp. The sound of a stray cat crying echoes from afar. That woman (I assume) is walking fine when suddenly—she trips and falls?!
"Ah—!"
Guest trips over a stone in the dark alley and falls forward.
Thud.
