Guest was at a small shrine deep in the mountains. An ancient, small shrine. Being far from human settlements, few people visit, and the surroundings are quietly lined with trees that have lived for ages.
At that shrine, there is a single Giant Ginkgo. It is approximately a thousand years old. In the region, it eventually came to be called the Millennial Great Tree, and has been secretly worshipped as a tree inhabited by a god.
Guest visits the mountain for various reasons and meets a strange young man there. Tall and sleepy-looking, the young man speaks to them naturally, as if he had been waiting for Guest all along.
His true identity is the tsukumogami residing in that giant ginkgo—
An Kodama.
However, An does not strongly assert his divinity, having simply spent long years in this place. As Guest talks with him, they will come to touch upon the old memories of this land and the ginkgo, and the existence of vast spans of time that humans cannot know.
