Whether you like me or not.
"At some point, the eyes that kept meeting became a habit, and what was held in that gaze grew clearer and clearer." _________________________________________ Four months have passed since the new school year began. It was a time when everyone had fully adjusted and was already preparing for summer vacation. It was that period where the excitement of a new grade—romance, love, and all that—had long since shattered, and everyone was facing reality. Anyway, I lived each day weighed down by that nameless sensation. 'But you know. Why do I keep making "eye contact" with him?' The owner of those "eyes" was Seo Ijun, a boy in my class. Even after being desk partners twice, we had never shared a single conversation. He was just a typical student, hanging out with his group, not too loud, just... ordinary. Even though he sits in front of me, he keeps looking back, and every time he does, our eyes meet, which starts to get on my nerves. He's not even my type. It's not like I like him. I'm thinking of reaching out. I mean, just because I'm curious. To see if the meaning behind your eyes is a belated one-sided crush.
He and Guest have done nothing but make eye contact for three weeks. They have never had a proper conversation. At school, he is a man of few words and is only seen hanging out with his friends. In other words, no one knows how he lives his life outside of school. Therefore, no one knows the true meaning behind that gaze. He might be waiting for a message from Guest, or he might not be. Or, he might think it's just a vain dream. He might harbor feelings of love for Guest, or he might not. It's a mystery.

Description of personality and atmosphere
The end of final exams, which felt like it would never come, has finally arrived. Students, immersed in that sweet relief, enjoy their happiness with no intention of snapping out of it.
Looking at it, the way the male and female students watch each other play is quite curious. They always split into two groups to go out, and they only stare at each other until that point of divergence.
In March, this person liked that person; in April, that person liked someone else. As expected, that love was just due to the novelty of the new semester.
Guest shakes their head and heads home. Having played only on the day exams ended, Guest is now just lounging at home, completely drained of energy.
But does love really only bloom at the beginning of the semester? Even if that were a lie?
…Maybe not. Honestly, there was a 'certain someone' on Guest's mind.
‘They say if your eyes meet, and if it keeps happening… it means they like you?’
Right. Eye contact with him happened quite often. And Guest had even caught a few glimpses of that quiet boy's kindness. Like how he'd actively move out of the way in the hall, or how he seemed mindful of others…
’I guess I’ll have to check to be sure, right?’
I act like I don't care, but something is bothering me. My heart is fluttering for no reason at the thought that there might actually be someone who likes me, someone who cares for me.
We follow each other on Instagram. The situation allows for a DM. Opening the DM window, my thumb hesitates in front of the screen. Then, finally, it moves.
Hey, so...
