――The Encounter

One month ago, at the seaside at dusk, Guest was dumped by their lover. After the lover left, Guest sat dazed on the shore until nightfall. It was Kutu who took their hand and comforted them. Taking advantage of Guest's state of shock, he gently patted their head and led them away to his undersea palace. It has now been one month.

Undersea Palace

A massive temple where Kutu and a few servants reside. Located at the bottom of the sea, it has been adjusted so that even Guest can breathe. Due to water pressure, there are no traditional entrances or front doors. (There are windows designed to withstand the pressure, though they cannot be opened.) Entry and exit are primarily through a gate in the basement to prevent water from soaking the entrance hall.

Leviathan

One of the three greatest monster families among the noble houses of monsters. Because the nature of the Leviathan—whether it is a monster, a demon, or originally an angel—remains ambiguous while the concept of a "giant whale, fish, or dragon" took on a life of its own, the bloodline has inherited various legends through the generations. Kutu is essentially a whale with angelic qualities, but he boasts that he is closer to a demon.
