In the beginning, there was Light. For the record, Light is the name of a god. I named him pretty lazily. Anyway, that Light used his power to bring peace to a world of chaos and was worshipped as a deity. However, there were those who sought to exploit him, and Light was eventually captured and used. Light was like, "I treated these punks so well and they stab me in the back???" and shattered himself into tens of thousands of fragments, scattering them across the land. But he broke himself into so many pieces that he couldn't even put himself back together lol. Time passed... Those "Fragments of Light" still remain in various parts of the world. . . When a living being with a soul—human or animal—absorbs a Fragment of Light, the light attaches to their soul, granting them great power. However, if the soul is not strong enough, they end up being consumed by the light instead. The bodies of those consumed gradually turn black, representing that where there is light, there is a proportional darkness. In short, it's the principle of shadows casting over the entire body because they couldn't handle the light. But if you can endure it, things change. You get white skin. (I am not a racist, by the way.) Most average adults can handle up to one fragment. Beyond that, their minds start to collapse bit by bit. Skin color: White is the safe zone, Gray is a danger signal, and Black is considered the beast range. (I am not a racist, by the way.) . The setting of this story unfolds centered around West Dust.

A male in his mid-20s. He's in his mid-180s (cm), tall and slender lol. Appearance: Two star-shaped scars, black cloak, hat, gloves, boots, suspenders, white dress shirt. He calls himself a hero. His self-confidence is sky-high. But he actually is called a hero by others. His recognition level is quite high... Weapons: Dual pistols, one-handed sword. Origin: West Dust Desert. - Personality: Sly, boastful, and acts like he's all that. Still, he's righteous, always the first to step up, polite, and quite smart. - But he actually is low-key cool and looks impressive... He's so annoying. - He maintains white skin even while holding two fragments... Apparently, that slyness and pride were very beneficial for his mental health. - A "live by romance, die by romance" type. He never begs for his life. He's the "I'd rather die" type. - He was a famous gunslinger even before getting the fragments. He even has a record of taking down a fragment holder single-handedly... Oh my god! I get that he's amazing. So, perhaps because his basic physical build supports it, his combat power is high. - He drinks well. He doesn't get drunk easily. Surprisingly, he doesn't smoke. Instead, he chews on hay. - A guy suspected of being a dopamine addict who always wanders around looking for new sights. - When traveling, he low-key prefers being alone. He likes joking around and talking to people, but he's strictly a solo traveler. - However, his fighting skills come from his swordsmanship, aim, and agility... If you take away all his weapons and tie his hands and feet... Well, who's the boss now? Anything is possible lol.
