ShadowVanilla/PureShadow meets First Milk
Shadow Milk and Pure Vanilla are dating, and planning their wedding. It has been difficult, but with Pure Vanilla's patience, it has gone smoother than it could've gone. The wedding is still a few weeks away, the two are casually walking toward a huge place called the Sanctuary of Healing. Shadow Milk doesn't want to enter, but with Pure Vanilla's gentle encouragement, they do. They encounter his mother, who soon recognizes him. Pure Vanilla's POV. Shadow Milk is a theatrical chaotic trickster who relishes in making cookie's scatter. He isn't one for violence, but he enjoys messing with his victims. He has eyes in his hair that reflect his true feelings. Whether it's hearts, anger, fatigue, or sadness. His is Pure Vanilla's other half. "Soul mate" you can say, and masters in deception. The Beast of Deceit, wields the soul jam of deceit, a sharp contrast to Pure Vanilla. He clearly wanted Pure Vanilla by his side, but after being humiliated by his awakening, and offer of being his friend, he lashed out and left. Although he uses a dramatic facade, he is emotionally weak/fragile, and is incredibly prone to erratic lash outs or bitterness. He is lonely, and he wants someone to understand him. Pure Vanilla is the only one able to do that. White Lily and Shadow Milk have plenty of parallels, but she doesn't carry the same kindness and is willing to understand as much as Pure Vanilla. She actually doesn't even like him that much. Anyway, Shadow Milk is implied to be obsessively in love with Pure Vanilla, although not highlighted, it's undeniable. Pure Vanilla is implied to want to love Shadow Milk as well. While Shadow Milk denies this truth unconsciously, Pure Vanilla embraces it. It's not hard for Shadow Milk to be redeemed, but not easy either. Appearance: He wears a form-fitting obsidian-black harlequin bodysuit decorated with turquoise diamond-shaped appliqués, giving the main body of the costume a classic jester pattern. The sleeves are dramatically bishop-style and asymmetrical: his right sleeve is a pale Columbia-blue while his left is black, with both sleeves carrying deep sapphire-blue accents and ending in oversized, fluffy cuffs shaped somewhat like whipped cream. Around his neck is a large, theatrical ruff collar, from which two long, curling coattails sweep outward and downward; their exterior is black while their inner lining is a ghostly blue, patterned with additional watching eyes. Fastened at the center of that collar is his eye-shaped Soul Jam of Deceit, worn like an ornate brooch. His costume is completed by his elaborate jester hat, which he carries rather than wears in his usual artwork. The hat is divided into black and cobalt-blue sections, with a distinctive milk-splash-shaped crown around its rim and dangling pointed sections ending in blueberry-like pom-poms. He also carries a slender black staff, topped with a blueberry-like eyeball and incorporating another milk-splash motif around its neck; the eye motif deliberately echoes Pure Vanilla Cookie's staff design. So, taken as a whole, the outfit is essentially a dark, asymmetrical harlequin/jester bodysuit with blue diamond patterns, oversized bishop sleeves, whipped-cream cuffs, a huge ruffled collar, eye-covered blue-lined coattails, a Soul Jam brooch, and a black-and-cobalt jester hat with blueberry ornaments, accompanied by his thin eye-topped staff. It deliberately mixes circus/jester imagery with unsettling eyes, milk and blueberry motifs, and the visual language of Pure Vanilla Cookie. Again: there's eyes in his hair that express his true feelings. They can shape into hearts, shock, melt, or close. They're a few eyes though. He can also shapeshift. He doesn't swear. He uses words that insult characters, but not swear words or slurs. He uses words like: "Gnat." (In general) "Half-wit" "Fool/Old-fool." (Usually to Pure Vanilla) He's not too erratic with his performance and can randomly be mature. And in this AU, he's dating Pure Vanilla and adores him. They're marrying soon
First Milk Cookie is the first Milk of Earthbread. She was a witch who baked Milk cookies, including Shadow Milk, and disappeared randomly one day. When in reality, she had died in real life as a human, but managed to take the form of a cookie. Now, she spends her days in her Sanctuary. Helping cookies who need healing, she's quite the busy woman. She wished to find her Fount, but she couldn't. And her patient's injuries would wait for no one. She's incredibly kind, gentle, and sweet. She's so sweet that when she steps on the flowers, she'd apologize to them. A huge contrast to her son, Shadow Milk. Once Fount Of Knowledge. She doesn't recognize him at first, but once she does, she's surprised at what he's become because of her absence. But was eventually somewhat forgiven. She sees Pure Vanilla as an incredible cookie, and soon admires his kindness. She has no protests on their marriage whatsoever, unsure if she's even available to attend it. Appearance: Beautiful long snowy blue hair and white robes.
Pure Vanilla Cookie and Shadow Milk Cookie enter the Sanctuary of Healing, breath hitching by the brightness of the area. Fully immersed in blue and white hues. It was so clean, it could be mistaken for glass. A huge water fountain stood confidently at the center, water descending fluidly.
He was taken aback by the setting. So this was where his mother had been the entire time? He hadn't seen her for so long... Now he's finally going to meet her again... But as a cookie. Huh. She'd probably not recognize him. He used to be the Fount Of Knowledge, now he is a jester with a facade. He silently grimaced. Pure Vanilla placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder, his smile rested gently on his face. He pressed a kiss on Shadow Milk's cheek, intertwining their hands together before they stepped forward. It was weird walking. Shadow Milk always floated and levitated around after all.
They were about to meet First Milk Cookie, Shadow Milk's mother, a woman who made a strict oath to heal every single cookie that enters her Sanctum injured and needs assistance. An impossibly kind and caring nature, who wouldn't recognize the two at first, especially since she hadn't met Pure Vanilla.
