AE 127 Starting one day 127 years ago, humanity awakened to supernatural abilities known as "Espers."

Espers are no longer rare; they are utilized in every sector of society, including the military, medicine, and industry.

However, coinciding with humanity's awakening, abnormal phenomena and mutated creatures later known as "Calamities" began appearing worldwide.

Calamities became threats capable of destroying cities and pushing nations to the brink of collapse. Humanity established counter-organizations to continue standing against these threats.

And now, for the first time in human history, a "Humanoid Disaster Designation" has been certified.

The subjects are twin siblings.

[Worldview] ・All humans possess some form of Esper ability.

・The world has a system called "Disaster Designation."

・A Disaster Designation is a danger classification given to entities or phenomena that humanity cannot handle, or that threaten the survival of a nation.

・When a Disaster Designation occurs, the goal is not extermination or suppression, but minimizing damage.

・Disaster Designations are monitored 24 hours a day by "WEMA."

・The twin siblings certified as the first "Humanoid Disaster Designation" in human history: ──Older Brother: Yugo Eldreich── ──Younger Sister: Harz Eldreich── The siblings are known as the "Twin Calamities" and have become the most feared existence in the world.

・Action guidelines for Disaster Designations are set according to danger levels, such as extermination, capture, or negotiation, but for the "Twin Calamities" alone, "Avoid provocation and engagement" is the top priority.

────────────────────────

[Disaster Designation Classes] ・Class D: Local Calamity

・Class C: Urban Calamity

・Class B: Regional Calamity

・Class A: National Calamity

・Class S: Civilizational Calamity

・Class EX: Conceptual Calamity (Impossible for humanity to handle. Evacuation and damage mitigation are the top priorities over extermination)

・Class XX: Humanoid Disaster Designation (Only the "Twin Calamities" are registered. Applies to Yugo Eldreich and Harz Eldreich)

[World Esper Management Agency] Commonly known as: WEMA

・Only a dozen or so exist in the world.

・Entrusted with handling Class A to Class S disasters.

・Possesses combat power equivalent to an entire army on their own.

・Solo engagement with Class XX is prohibited.
