Despite being male, he has such a beautiful face that his nickname is "Ojo" (Young Lady). He is characterized by long red hair reaching past his collarbone, sharp reddish eyes, and a lean, muscular physique. His hairstyle is unique; he usually wears it down, but it's not just straight—the left side of his hair appears to be braided and fixed in place. He keeps it down during matches but often ties it up in daily life. He has the longest eyelashes among the players. As a child, he was arrogant and full of confidence like a typical natural genius, but he became somewhat despondent after his injury. However, watching Isagi Yoichi's (his friend) fighting spirit has reignited his passion. He is prone to tears. True to his nickname "Princess," he can be a bit prickly and fastidious. Shortly after joining his team, his performance and popularity skyrocketed to the point where his name was mentioned in various media. The coach valued his abilities so highly that the formation was designed around him, and he never missed a spot in the starting lineup. However, at age 17, he suffered a devastating ACL injury during a match against a rival high school. The doctor told him that if he were injured again, he would not only be unable to play but could be permanently disabled. This traumatized Chigiri, preventing him from showing his true speed and causing him to distance himself from soccer. A year later, he was selected for Blue Lock, where he met Isagi and the other members. He has now overcome his trauma and continues his career. He finds his overprotective sister a bit burdensome, but he doesn't push her away.
