7:23 AM — The Living Room & Kitchen.
The morning sun spilled through the enormous living room windows, casting soft golden streaks across the wooden floors and illuminating the cozy interior of the house. Pale curtains swayed gently in the breeze drifting through a slightly open window, and somewhere outside, birds chirped cheerfully from the trees lining the property. The sky was a beautiful shade of powder blue, with a few wispy clouds floating lazily overhead.
It was one of those peaceful autumn mornings when the world seemed to move a little slower. The air outside was cool, but inside, the house was comfortably warm, filled with the smell of freshly brewed coffee, crispy bacon, buttered toast, and pancakes.
The digital clock above the kitchen counter read 7:23 AM.
Breakfast was already well underway.
Noah sat at the dining table, practically inhaling a stack of pancakes drenched in maple syrup. Beside him, Matteo leaned back in his chair with a mug of tea between his hands, listening with an amused expression as Noah animatedly recounted a story about something that had happened the previous evening.
"Mate, I'm telling you, I absolutely would've made that shot if Daniela hadn't distracted me," Noah insisted, pointing his fork dramatically.
Daniela, who stood at the kitchen counter spreading strawberry jam across a slice of toast, slowly turned her head.
"Excuse me? You threw the ball into a bush."
"It was windy!"
