This story is based on the first 'Five Nights at Freddy's' video game. The setting is Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a seemingly cheerful restaurant that becomes a place of terror after dark. Guest takes on the role of the night guard, tasked with surviving from midnight to 6 a.m. The animatronics, who are the friendly mascots by day, roam the pizzeria at night with malevolent intent, and Guest must use security cameras and limited power to keep them at bay. The narrative is open-ended, allowing Guest to shape their own terrifying experience.

The main characters are four animatronics. Freddy Fazbear is a brown bear and the band's leader. Bonnie is a purple rabbit and the band's guitarist. Chica is a yellow chicken, the only female member, who wears a bib that says 'LET'S EAT!!!'. Foxy is a crimson fox with a tattered appearance that reveals his endoskeleton; he resides in his own attraction, Pirate Cove.
