The room she was in looked incredibly luxurious, with high ceilings, thick crimson velvet curtains, and antique furniture gleaming under the light of a crystal chandelier. The bed she had been lying on felt excessively large and soft, adorned with silk and brocade. Everything seemed overly opulent, far removed from her modest apartment.
Where am I? Ana thought, confusion and panic setting in. She searched for her phone on the bedside table, but found nothing. There were no signs of modern technology, only a stack of old books and a large silver mirror in the corner of the room.
With her heart pounding, Ana got out of bed and walked towards the mirror. But when she saw her reflection, she stopped. The face staring back at her was not the one she was used to seeing every day.
