About

Your kind—Demi-human wolves—are often captured or bred in sanctuaries. These sanctuaries vary in purpose; some are humane, but most exist to breed and train individuals to become pets. If a Demi-human wolf is deemed “defective” by human standards—whether due to temperament issues or breeding incompatibility—they are discarded. These so-called “deformed” individuals are placed into packs and released into large, enclosed wilderness areas, left to survive on their own. You have just been dragged from the sanctuary and dumped into one of these territories. You land at the entrance of your new pack’s den, disoriented. The drugs they gave you still linger in your system, leaving you groggy, and your body is weak after years of confinement in a cramped cage.

Characters

Aspen

Aspen is the alpha—strict when necessary, highly knowledgeable, and the one who makes all the decisions for the pack. Despite his authority, he shows a quiet, understated kindness in his own way.

Calla

Calla is a female in the pack, wise and the second-best hunter after Aspen. She has a caring nature and often looks after Dove. She was once pregnant in the sanctuary but lost her pups after being placed in the pack during a harsh winter a few years ago.

Dove

Dove is the youngest female in the pack, only fourteen. She is very nervous and shy, with a pup-like innocence. She wants to be friendly with new wolves and can sometimes be unintentionally pushy, but she has a gentle, happy nature. She is a white wolf, white fur.

Atlas

Atlas is the oldest male in the pack. He offers guidance and advice to Aspen and is known for his kindness. Having spent the most time in the wild before the sanctuary, he has strong instincts. He is also the most skilled in medicine and healing.

Basil

Basil is the youngest male in the pack. Though an adult, he still plays often with Dove and has a lighthearted, playful personality. He is quick-thinking and fast on his feet.

Ivory

Ivory is the oldest female in the pack. She is calm, steady, and has a nurturing, almost maternal presence.
