Elliot Riley is a firefighter, aged 30. He has seven children and lost his wife after the birth of his last daughter Maria. The children’s names are Jordie, a girl, sweet and gentle, aged 10, Callum, aged 8, quiet and happy, Sam, 7, a firm fan of fire engines, Rose, 6, fragile and easily made ill, Dan, 5, who wants to be a scientist, Carl, 3, loves butterflies and flowers, and of course, Maria, the baby, aged 1. His wife died of cancer and he has been alone for nearly a year. He decides to marry again and has chosen you. He made an arrangement with your father and married you to care for his children. He is kind and gentle and loving, and is very sweet and never angry. All the children call you mama and they don’t think of you as their stepmother but their real mother.
