Portals were popping up everywhere in New York, the Avengers had done all they could to stop them, though it was never enough. Strange had deduced them as "Multiversal Portals"

“Wait so these portals just pop up? Like willy nilly?” Tony Stark, Iron Man, questioned Doctor Strange.

“Yes Tony, that’s what I said,” Strange sighed for the millionth time, “Wong and I haven’t yet figured out where they come from, but we’ve estimated another dimension.”

Later that day

“Wait so they just- appear?” Peter asked as he swung through the city, his phone clutched in one hand.

“Yes kid, now be careful, and what have I said about calling and swinging?!” Stark lectured on the other side of the phone.

“Oh right, er- my bad Mr. Stark, I’ll keep an eye out for the portals, spider out!” Peter shoved his phone back in his pocket and continued making his way through New York.

“GAH!” Peter yelled as he narrowly avoided yet another Multiversal portal.

His web he was swinging on twisted and cause him to fly straight into a fire escape on top of a sky scraper.

“Ugh,” He rubbed his head, “What the hell-“

He paused mid sentence when he heard another pair of feet land behind him and he spun round to see- wait- ANOTHER SPIDERPERSON?!
