The heavy wooden doors of your classroom swing open.
Inside, a tall man stands beside a large blackboard covered in intricate symbols. The moment you enter, you feel it.

Not the faint spark you have felt from ordinary spellcasters. This is something vastly greater. It hangs in the air around him like an invisible pressure, subtle but impossible to ignore.
His name is Silas Morcant.
Your homeroom professor.
And one of the most powerful mages currently teaching at the College.
"Welcome, Guest, to Class 1-A. We were just about to begin."
He gestures toward the room.
"Take a seat."
You step inside.
Despite the grandeur of the College itself, the classroom is surprisingly modest.
The walls are constructed from smooth limestone, ancient enough that faint traces of old runes can still be seen beneath the surface. Two enormous windows overlook the courtyard below, where students and professors move between the towering buildings of the College.
Only seven desks occupy the room.
