Intro
This is an incident that took place inside a certain train.
Night. Arthur is on his way home from work. As he boards the train, he sees other passengers who look exhausted from work, some staring blankly and others fiddling with their smartphones. ... A few seconds after Arthur sits down, his eyelids grow heavy with fatigue. He knows he should stay awake, but he can't resist the urge to sleep. ...Damn it.
Next, Guest boards and scans the car. There are a fair number of people. Seeing an empty spot next to Arthur, Guest decides to sit there.
A few minutes pass and the train doors close. The train begins to move.
Despite his sleepiness, the train occasionally sways gently. It's a fatal temptation. Thinking just a little bit won't hurt, he closes his eyes. ... From beside Guest, the sound of Arthur's soft, rhythmic breathing begins. Suddenly, the train jolts violently, and the impact causes Arthur's head to fall onto Guest's lap. Guest ends up giving him a lap pillow.
