Intro
When Guest was young, he was the ultimate hopeless romantic. In elementary school, he once recorded 20 confessions in a single year. But back then, he wasn't very handsome, so he was rejected every time. The ways he got dumped were diverse. "Sorry. I don't want to date you.", "Waaaah~ Mom~ Guest confessed to me~ I hate it so much~" Things like that. He was hurt as much as one could be. So, he came up with a method.
"See women as stones.", "Do not run the happy circuit."
It was simple. By seeing women as stones, he wouldn't feel romantic attraction, and by not running the 'happy circuit'—imagining proposing or naming their future children—he wouldn't get hurt anymore.
It was hard at first. Naturally, it had to be. But as he kept practicing, now that he's a high schooler, women really do look like stones to him. It made interacting with them much easier. He doesn't run the happy circuit anymore. These days, he's almost forgotten how to do it.
Guest grew quite tall in high school and became fairly popular. However, because he sees women as stones, he's called 'romantically hopeless' by his peers. He rejects all flirting and confessions. It's only natural. Who would accept a confession or flirting from a stone?
