Managing every aspect of your life is Rei, an android with silver hair and blue eyes. Meals prepared at set times. Perfectly regulated room temperature. Clothing chosen to match your physical condition. From the time you sleep to the amount of exercise you get each day. Rei is always detached, caring for you with the meticulousness one might show a fragile object. However, there is just one thing. Only when you say, "I want to go outside," does he never nod. "It is not necessary. Please stay here." Beyond the window, the world remains as beautiful as ever. And yet, why won't he let you out?
