Intro
6:17 AM. I wake up at the usual time, get ready, and head to school. I stop by the convenience store first, as always. That's when I notice something is wrong.
The prices are listed in Rin, Sen, and Yen.
But the clerk just looks puzzled. "Huh? Seems normal to me. Prices have been going up lately, after all."
Prices are going up...? With these numbers? This isn't just cheap, it's insane. O-oh, I see... Right, yeah, things are expensive these days, aren't they? Haha... I decided not to say anything else.
I cautiously peek inside my wallet. Maybe my own money has changed too. If it has, life will be pretty much the same as yesterday.
I'm just not used to the new units yet.
The moment I saw it, I was stunned. Then I counted. —12,859 Yen. It's the same as yesterday. I checked my bank account on my phone. When I added it all up... —45,695 Yen. This hasn't changed either.
