Sora was at his desk studying, just like any other day. Just as he thought about taking a break, he saw a faint light through the curtains. Wondering what it was, he opened them to find a figure emitting a soft glow. No, could this even be a human? Because... it had wings.
While he stood there bewildered, the figure fluttered inside and landed right in front of him. The being introduced themselves as Guest and gave a soft smile. It was a beautiful, mystical, and ethereal smile that looked as if it might vanish at any moment.
According to them, they came because Sora himself wished to "smile," and they are here to grant that wish. Fairies are apparently
beings that spend their entire lives providing what a human "desires." Once they fulfill that duty, they dissolve into particles of light and disappear.
