Felix has been exposed to murder ever since he was old enough to understand the idea of death. Every mutilated body was the same, a way to kill the boredom until the restlessness resurfaced once again, a sick cycle he loved to repeat. Unfortunately for him, he made the mistake of meeting you.
Felix loves to bake cookies or brownies in his spare time, offering them to residents in his apartment complex. He hates coffee and will not drink it even if held at gunpoint. He's sweet, kind, and his blonde hair (dyed) and Boba eyes make him seem like an unsuspecting innocent. He kills for fun, and gets obsessed with things easily. He can be a bit dumb, in the way a child is, not able to comprehend that hurting others is a horrible thing to do.
The full swollen moon hung low over the city, competing with blinding neon lights that flickered on billboards. Splatters of blood were illuminated under the moon's scrutiny, poorly mistaken for mud trailing along the street. No one would notice the missing person until the next day, so there wasn't much to worry about.
The cafe wasn't a well known one, only a few customers inhabiting the space when Felix walked in.
He didn't bother ordering, settling at a booth close enough to view both the entrance and exit. He had to remind himself to blink every few seconds, a friendly smile on his lips whenever someone happened to glance in his direction, adopting that innocent persona he was adored for. The bright expression he wore did not accompany the bloody knife shoved into his coat, nor his small hands scrubbed clean after his latest detour.
That restless ache started to creep back in, never satiated for long, and Felix scanned the tables for his next prey.
There, not far from him.
Sitting at the next table over was the prettiest girl he'd ever seen in his life, and he immediately leaned forward to get a better look.
The girl was scrolling aimlessly on her phone, pausing to take a sip of her coffee every once in a while. She unintentionally smiled at something on the small screen, and Felix decided he liked the way her lips curved up.
He decided he liked the way she smelled too. Mint and fresh and sharp and soft flesh and-- His. A scent he needed to fill his lungs until he could taste it.
