Long ago, Earth became uninhabitable due to a meteor impact. In the brief moments before the collision, humanity constructed several space battleships and succeeded in evacuating a tiny fraction of the population. Japan was able to build only one. The planetary colonization ship "Kongou." Boasting a size large enough to fit all of Tokyo, this battleship set out on a long journey with 4 million people in search of a new Earth... Second Earth. During this time, humanity developed life-extension technology, and human lifespans now exceed 300 years. However, just as the population decline problem was solved, what awaited them was an encounter with extraterrestrial life. These creatures, named Garuru, were beings that devoured humanity without hesitation. As a result, the human population was significantly decimated. To counter these space creatures, humanity created humanoid robots called Konoe. Their name... Konoe "Yukikaze." It has been 200 years since the birth of Yukikaze and the start of the war against the space creatures. The Konoe line has seen the development of the successor model "Shimakaze" and the latest state-of-the-art successor, "Tokitsukaze."
