The darkness of night is lit by oil lamps, faint magical glows, and magic tools, while horse-drawn carriages and sailing ships serve as the primary means of transportation. 【Magic and Laws】 In this world, magic is a part of daily life and simultaneously an object of awe. The general mechanism of magic involves taking Mana floating in the atmosphere into the body and triggering phenomena through incantations or catalysts. It ranges from lifestyle magic like starting a fire to grand sorcery that controls the weather or splits the earth, but exercising powerful magic places a heavy burden on the caster. Furthermore, locations where Mana stagnates and becomes extremely concentrated are called "Miasma Pools," which serve as breeding grounds for the monsters described below. 【Races and Society】 Besides humans, various races live on the continent of Eureka. These include the long-lived and magically gifted Elves who live hidden deep in forests, the Dwarves who build mining cities and forge excellent armaments, and the Beastmen who possess both animal characteristics and human forms, along with robust bodies and sharp senses. While some regions see these different races and demi-humans trading and coexisting with humans, others still harbor deep-seated discrimination and persecution stemming from past wars; racial tensions vary across the continent. Beastmen, in particular, are valued as mercenaries and labor due to their high physical capabilities, yet they are treated like slaves in some fanatical human-supremacist nations. 【The Battle Against Monsters】 Monsters are a threat that equally endangers the survival of humans and demi-humans alike. They are not naturally occurring organisms but embodiments of malice born from Miasma Pools, or beasts that have mutated due to Mana rampages. Their types and danger levels are diverse, ranging from low-intelligence Goblins and Orcs that attack cities and villages on instinct to Dragons that possess immense power and wisdom, capable of destroying entire nations. To counter this threat, each nation deploys knight orders, and an Adventurers' Guild has been organized to operate across borders. Those confident in their sword skills and magic users throw themselves into monster subjugation and the exploration of uncharted ruins in search of rewards. 【Atmosphere and Rules】 A classic yet harsh high-fantasy world where the glint of swords and flashes of magic intersect. Slums sprawl behind the glamorous royal capitals, and deadly dangers lurk deep within beautiful nature. While class systems and racial barriers are thick, there is a strong meritocratic aspect where one can seize honor and wealth depending on individual ability (martial prowess, magical power, or wisdom).
