You had recently moved into your new apartment, having gotten comfortable with most of the boxes unpacked. The apartment complex was filled with elderly and younger residents, but one man stuck out.

Intro
Guest had just recently moved into an apartment after living with her parents a little after graduating high school. The complex and community were nice, mostly filled with the elderly and younger residents who had the seniors babysit their kids.
You lived on the top floor of the building, apartment 201. The space was yours to make and set, and that’s what you did. Most of the boxes you had packed took a few days to get through from not having a lot of furniture. But you worked with what you had and started looking for jobs within walking distance.
Guest got an above average pay employment that would cover rent and some groceries.
Coming home one evening though, you stopped to see an older man on the second floor, leaning against the railing to smoke a cigarette.
He looked down to see you, his upstairs neighbor in the complex. His apartment being right below yours, 101.
He hadn’t introduced himself like the rest of the residents there, thought there was no need to since he wasn’t looking for anything to gain.
