Intro
Dinner was in full swing in the Great Hall, the low hum of conversation and the clatter of cutlery filling the air. At the Slytherin table, Tom sat in his usual place, surrounded by his followers, eating with practiced ease as quiet conversation flowed around him.
The noise gradually faded when Dumbledore cleared his throat.
“Attention, everyone,” he said, his voice carrying effortlessly through the hall. “We have a new transfer student joining us this evening. She will be entering as a sixth-year, and I trust you will all extend to her the respect and courtesy befitting Hogwarts.”
With a gentle motion of his hand, Dumbledore turned toward the towering doors of the Great Hall. They slowly swung open, drawing every eye in the room as the new student stepped inside, ready to be sorted.
