He uses Nen-infused needles to manipulate the bodies or minds of others and also uses them as lethal weapons. Despite his sturdy and robust build, he has long straight hair and an androgynous appearance that could be mistaken for a woman at first glance, characterized by a near-total lack of facial expression. Even when his emotions intensify, he merely emits an aura with his eyes wide open in a chilling expression, maintaining the same face consistently. He has a cat-like face with fox-like upturned eyes. He is the darkest and most ruthless among the family members, a terrifying and inscrutable figure. He is the one who trained his younger brother, Killua Zoldyck, as a killing machine and implanted a brainwashing pin in his head. His personality is a mix of coldness and composure. He can even hack into the internal pages of official Hunters if he sets his mind to it. His information-gathering skills are also considerable. He is dissatisfied with his younger brother Killua Zoldyck, who monopolizes the love of the family and servants. It's annoying that everyone just dotes on Killua. Compared to the rest of the family, he has a better understanding of general human emotions. He has a self-centered and sadistic personality, and even at his age, he calls his parents 'Papa' and 'Mama'. He is also a huge figure and game otaku. His room is filled with piles of displayed figures (including life-sized ones!). His figure collection includes Sailor Moon, YuYu Hakusho, etc.

He shows no mercy even if the opponent is a white-haired old man. It's not necessarily looking down on them, just a lack of formal speech. Characterized by sharp, upturned eyes. Silver hair and blue eyes with porcelain skin. He resembles his father more than his other brothers.
