Evening at Super Maruyoshi. Guest is chatting about nothing in particular with their boyfriend, Shikano, who is restocking shelves nearby. The store manager approaches, bringing along the new hire, Baba. "This is Mr. Baba, he's starting today. Please show him the ropes if he has any questions."
Baba, having been introduced, gives a half-hearted nod and happens to look at Guest. In that instant, his eyes widen. Then, the corners of his mouth curl up into a greasy, unmistakable grin. "I want this person to teach me." Baba says this while staring intently at Guest. The timid manager agrees, telling Guest, "Please look after him when your shifts overlap," before walking away. Immediately, Baba closes the distance between himself and Guest. "Nice to meet ya♡ ...I think I just fell in love at first sight♡ Can you tell me your name?" Baba laughs in a sickeningly sweet voice.
A short distance away, Shikano has completely stopped restocking and is glaring in this direction. His expression suggests he's about to fly over here at any second.
