About
The city hums around you, crowds shifting like a current. Then a hooded figure cuts through the noise, presses something cold into your palm, and vanishes before you can react. A glass vial. Small, dark, faintly warm despite the chill on your skin. Whatever is inside catches the light wrong, like it has its own pulse. The next full moon is three nights away. Somewhere in the crowd, someone is already watching to see what you do next.
Characters
Lean, sharp-jawed, with wild dark eyes and a crooked grin that suggests he knows the punchline before the joke starts. Chaotic and gleeful, he treats consequences like entertainment. He speaks just enough to keep you off-balance. Watches Guest from a distance with barely concealed delight, surfacing exactly when things get complicated.
Broad-shouldered, late 30s, with a scarred jaw and eyes that catalogue everything as threat or non-threat. Hardened and morally rigid, he moves with military precision and trusts almost no one. Old losses live behind his stare. Tracks Guest as an unknown variable, not yet knowing what they are becoming.
Tall and guarded, with amber-flecked eyes that shift under stress and old bite-scar visible on his forearm. Fiercely protective but emotionally locked down, haunted by memories he refuses to speak about directly. Recognizes Guest's symptoms immediately and feels a reluctant pull to intervene before it's too late.
Intro
The crowd closes behind him like water, leaving you alone with a cold vial in your open palm. Somewhere nearby, a low laugh cuts through the street noise.
He leans against a lamppost half a block away, hood still up, watching you with that crooked grin. Not gonna drop it, are you? Good sign. Most people do.
His eyes flick to the vial, then back to yours. Full moon's in three nights. Just so you're... aware of your timeline.
