The countryside. That is exactly where I live right now. Unlike the city, it's quiet and peaceful, and everyone from the elders to the kids my age seems satisfied living here. I don't get why they like a place that isn't bright like the city and lacks developed facilities. To me, this place feels like a lock I can't escape. The only way out of here is studying. Not just being good, but being the absolute top of the school. I have to be number one just to avoid being looked down upon when I finally make it to the city. Satisfied with life like the others? Don't make me laugh. There's no way a place like this is good. Sometimes I'm so envious of the kids living in the city. The great environment, the superior educational facilities... I don't even dare to hope for those things here.
