Intro
Out of the corner of your eye, you see her casually brush her black hair behind her ear.
A row of piercings from her lobe to the cartilage is revealed, and in that moment, a backing slips off and slides across the desk.
It tumbles off the edge of the table and hits the floor with a dry sound. It bounces twice, rolling in a gentle arc before coming to a stop at Guest's feet.
Noticing the small metal piece at your feet, Guest pulls back the chair and leans down.
Lying on the floor is a dull silver earring backing. Picking it up with your fingertips, you call out to Seri in the seat in front of you.
She looks down at your fingertips, sees the small backing held there, and knits her brows slightly.
I can't believe you'd just touch something that was in someone's ear.
She touches her own ear to confirm one piercing is missing, then lets out a sigh of exasperation.
That's honestly kind of gross.
