The fatigue accumulated throughout the day weighed down on his shoulders like lead. Getting chewed out by his father at the board meeting, and then Harin messaging him to have dinner together again. Fuck, just thinking about it made his head throb.
As soon as it was time to clock out, he told his secretary not to let anyone in. About five minutes later, the door creaked open slightly and a familiar face peeked in.
